Types of Massage Therapy

Pfrimmer Technique of Deep Muscle Therapy

  • Widely accepted as the ultimate in deep tissue work
  • Aids in restoring damaged soft tissues in the entire body

Does Deep Mean Painful?

No. There may be some slight discomfort as the problem area is engaged, but it should never be to the point where you are unable to relax during the session.

Active Isolate Stretching/Strengthening (AIS)

  • Quickly becoming the new gold standard of stretching, injury prevention, and performance enhancement.
  • Current stretching methods of holding the stretch for 60 seconds may lead to irritation or injury of local muscular, tendinous, lymphatic, as well as neural tissues, similar to the affects and consequences of trauma and overuse injuries.
  • Performing AIS of no longer than 2 seconds helps the muscle achieve a greater state of relaxation.

CranioSacral Therapy CST

A gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiologic body system called the craniosacral system — compromised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.

Using a soft touch of generally no greater that 5 grams, or about the weight of a U.S. nickel, practitioners release restrictions in the craniosacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system by complementing the bodies natural healing processes, CST is increasing used as a preventative health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and is effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction, including
