After earning my MBA at Indiana Wesleyan University, I had a dream and vision of working for the New York Yankees with hopes of getting into the Sports Management industry. Six months later, I discovered Indiana Massage College formerly known as Indiana College of Sports and Medical Massage. I was amazed and excited to join this fast growing and demanding profession.
This rewarding profession became my niche. At IMC, I learned skills designed for those serious about sports and medical aspects of massage as well as small business ownership. There, I learned about basic modalities such as Swedish and Deep Tissue as well as more detailed modalities such as Prenatal, Infant, Sports, Lymphatic Drainage, and so much more!
After graduation, I taught some classes at IMC such as Business and Hot Stone while working at ProWellness Chiropractic of Fishers, IN. During my three years experience, I earned my certificate in Contemporary Cupping Therapy via International Cupping Therapy Association. Several months later, I became the first Massage Therapist in Indiana to receive an Advanced Cupping Certificate specializing in cupping treatments for conditions such as sciatica, foot drop, bells palsy, bursitis, stroke, scar tissue, rotator cuff, and so much more!
May 23, 2015 was an amazing life experience as I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. By living a healthy lifestyle, anti-inflammatory diet included, I have been able to manage my symptomatic relapse and remission stage. I'm very passionate about being a Warrior in all aspects in life, especially with my MS. And it's a joy to help others with Autoimmune Diseases through the power of massage and all my equipment.
Currently, I own and operate Indy's Elite Massage which now has three locations: Carmel, Zionsville, and Downtown Indianapolis. Indy's Elite Massage provides relaxational and therapeutic massage at a stay-cation atmosphere. I am certified in Massage Therapy, Advanced Cupping Therapy, Bamboo-Fusion, and The Graston Technique. Massages are customized and tailored based upon your needs and goals. I am happy to assist you via appointment only. So contact me for any additional questions and schedule your session today!
